GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have loved growing up in Clahoun and attending Calhoun Schools my whole life. The best part of my experience is the connection that the teachers have with the students. I feel like the teachers at Calhoun work very hard to provide the best education for the students while also maintaining a good relationship with all students. The only thing that I wish would change about Calhoun is that I wish there were more rewarding benefits for students to help push them to succeed and want to do good in school and to better their education.

It was generally a good school but there was always a certain favoritism for some kids at our school.

The school is good-ish. Almost its entire atmosphere revolves around its football team as would any other average American High School. Its facilities are pretty good and so is its sports programs. They don't pay much attention to the arts on the other hand. Students usually listened to if parents are known or involved in school somehow. Last names are important here.

Teachers do not help with assignments & except students to learn on their own. This school with only he...
