The academic and athletic programs are great, but the school struggles to make students with diverse backgrounds feel safe in a predominantly white, cisgendered, and heteronormative environment - and does not take adequate action when reports of discrimination are made.

Camas High School is incredibly rigorous. In a way, it's beneficial because it prepares a student well for higher education. However, unfortunately there have been times where both coursework and teachers that have been slightly unfair, or even far too difficult, going far past a high school level.

I think that this school does an amazing job with making sure every student is seen and heard. Whether it's staff/faculty each one is always willing to make a great connection with students which in turn makes the communtity a better place.

One of my sons went to school there and it put him so far behind. No guidance or assistance for college or career path. He is now on his third Camas school just trying to graduate. My other son went to another Camas school and played baseball at CHS. He never got the attention he deserved partially...
