Fantastic, inclusive, and supportive school. The staff members are always there to guide you and sit alongside you to listen to you. The environment is the perfect school environment and I'm even a little sad to have graduated high school already.

I went to Hayes because I didn't think I could make it into a big high school like Camas High School. Hayes is a small school, only about 150 kids and has long classes and smaller classes. The teacher at this school are just incredible and really do care for you and the kids are so nice. My freshman year I knew no one and so many kids came up to me and talked to me. I feel like I can truly express myself here. This school taught me how to be myself and not be ashamed of what I do, how I dress. I would 100% go to this school again if I had to make the choice over. This school has been such a positive experience in my growth.

Each and every teacher has different ways of teaching but everyone one does it in a way that is so engaging and they all care about each and every student they have. They go above and beyond to make sure students are on task and make sure the graduate. They make you laugh and the school feels like a family and not some high school. If the class is really small or really big the teacher here make sure they talk to each student to see what they are doing and if they are understanding.

Amy Holmes does a fantastic job of creating an environment that makes any person feel welcome and apart of. It is obvious upon introduction, that every teacher at Hayes Freedom genuinely loves what they’re doing, and why they’re doing it!!

Teachers really care about their students. I didn't get that feeling when I went to the main high school. Hayes Freedom was a great school and I couldn't have done it without them. Class of '13

I have failed school for most of my life. It wasn't that I didn't want to learn, it was just that the staff and students weren't very open to the belief that some people learn differently than others. I am currently a freshman at Hayes and it has given me a lot of hope in life. I enjoy getting up in...

Principal, counselor, teacher's and staff that make a student feel as though they genuinely matter and are welcome at the school. They help students achieve their educational goals while fulfilling state mandated requirements. There is no administration or staff agenda's or ego's only the desire to...
