GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had an overall good experience at Cambridge South Dorchester High School. I was able to experience several different trades at the Dorchester Career and Technology Center. This experience helped prepare me for the workforce.

I like the friendships that I made throughout my 4 years but the school has many disciplinary problems and most faculty are unable to do anything.

My experience was very interesting you can say. I was on the cheer team and I made National Honor Society. Also this year I've been accepted in the National Spanish Honor Society. I was doing so good this year for my junior year then Covid-19 hit and ruin my Quarter 3 & 4 terms I was so close then prom was cancelled and everything. But online learning has been fun and non stressful. My overall year was wonderful and can't wait for my senior year.

Terrible. The teachers don't do anything about students cursing at each other in class. They don't do anything about bullying.

I know their are good teachers and good students striving to do their best, but there is no way I would send a child of mine to CSDHS. Sadly, there are few alternatives, making it even more important to slice where changes are neces...

I attended CSD a few years ago and I can tell you that it's not a bad place to get an education. I was in the Gifted and Talented Program and then took the AP classes offered, as well as competing on several sports teams. CSD is one of those places where you'll get what you make of it. If your child...

The school is a joke. There is no discipline and all the administrators in this district care about nothing else except their overpaid positions.
