Union Pines High School provides a well rounded education to most students with a wide variety of teachers and subjects. However the school is grossly overpopulated and due to the area often struggles providing opportunities to certain subjects of interest.

Overall good experience. The best part of my experience was lacrosse, the worst was the football program which discouraged my joy of playing.

The best experience I have encountered at Union Pines was probably making the womens lacrosse team my freshman year. The worst experience I have encountered at Union Pines would probably be all the threats made towards our school.

The best school in Moore County provides excellent academic options with Sandhill Community College to prepare students for higher education with great school staffs and parents and communit support!

I have one soon to be two sons who attend school at Union Pines. There is no other high school in Moore Co that I’d rather have my children attend. Great school all around!

I have 2 children at Union Pines and I love it! We specifically chose to live in our home because of the schools and I’m very happy with that decision! I’m sad to see the area grow so fast and I am hoping it doesn’t change the quality of the schools.

Based on my kids’ opinions, this is a decent school. Definitely a step up from Crain’s Creek for them. Usually the office staff is not very approachable. Some of the teachers are easy to get in touch with and respond relatively quickly. I would suggest training in not being biased against students,...
