So far at this school I have enjoyed my time here. The counselor here is good and helpful to set you up for your life after high school. Especially if you are pursuing the military this could be helpful because many of the staff members have military connections.

It seems like the majority of cadets at Southern Prep aren't there by their own choice, but our 17 yo son is one of the few that asked to attend. It was a financial sacrifice for us to send him, but he was have some many problems in public school. He was at the point where he'd fallen in with the wrong crowd, had several instances of substance abuse, and had absolutely no ambition or plans for the future. He told us that he figured he'd be in prison or dead by the time he was 18, so he might as well make the most of his like while he could. God put several people in his path, and he suddenly liked the idea of attending a military school. We were able to get him enrolled at Southern Prep, and he has grown so much over the past year. He is a new young man now with plans for college and a bright future. The people at Southern Prep are wonderful and have made a major difference in his life.

Southern Prep provided the extra support I needed that my large public school didn't. Southern Prep spend time with me to bring my math scores up so that I was able to get into it good college and felt confident about myself. I blew the ACT out of the park. Graduated as salutatorian. Sword Drill was a wonderful experience that I will always cherish.
