My experience at Cherokee High School was tumultuous to say the least. I have both very good and very bad memories at Cherokee High School. However, I will always remember the positive memories of my favorite teachers. The bad memories of school will fade, as long as I remember the good ones.

The school is old and crowded and falling apart in places, but I think that's part of its charm in a way--occasional gas leaks and faulty fire alarms included. Most of my teacher interactions have been good. I have a couple I hold grudges against, but then there's those who are my favorite teachers in the world.

Best: The environment is very expansive, it makes it fun to walk through and find out different things. The school has an immense amount of clubs and sports, there is a lot to do and find out. Worst: Some of the teachers are not helpful at all. The bathrooms feel very unsafe and unsanitary.

One of the best school districts! Better than East Cobb schools. Great taxes in the county less than 1%. Great value for where we live.

My children really like/liked cherokee high school. It’s the teachers there that make the difference. It’s diverse and more like the real world. It is next to a water treatment plant so it can get smelly there. To address the overcrowding they expanded the high school into an elementary building tha...
