Physical education is taken very seriously and the coaches do try and push you to do great. Sports, especially basketball, is the biggest sport played. This school has a lot of school spirit and the teams work very well and hard to win, but they do play for the fun of it as well.

They take bullying very seriously. They have multiple seminars a year on the topic of bullying. The school nurse is very nice and helpful, but she isn't there till the end of the day. They do have sex ed, but they don't have a health class. They take a couple weeks out of each semester and pull small groups from the physical education classes sorted by gender. They have a school police on campus a couple days of the week. The security in general is quite good actually.

Administration is all pomp and circumstance. Does not respond to email in a timely fashion (if at all). High performing students are ignored. Bad behavior is not addressed. Traffic is a nightmare. Car pool is awful- and admin refuses to address it.Front office is mediocre at best. Campus officer has...

A lot of bullying and drugs happening that teachers didn’t notice even if it was right in front of them. Especially in 7th and 8th grade.

Great teachers, caring staff, my daughter has really enjoyed her time here. Lucky to live in Cherokee County where we have high quality education.
