I have been in the Oasis Charter School System for 8 years, and I created some of the best memories here. I met all of my best friends here, and some I get to continue my education with at the University of South Florida, in the fall. It is a smaller school, but the allows you to have close relations with your teachers and all your peers. The school truly feels like a family, as I have grown up with these people since I transferred in 4th grade.

I've attended Oasis Charter High School all 4 years. I believe the AICE program I the best part of the school. Most of the AICE teachers are some of the best teachers I've had in my life, and the advanced classes aid a lot in college readiness.

My time at Oasis Charter High was full of great memories and a lot of room for personal growth. The small class sizes were a big plus — it felt like the teachers actually cared about all the kids and could give individual attention. I loved one class that was an AICE Physics class where the teacher made the class come alive by connecting the material to real life. We actually went on many field trips senior year where I got to discover many cultures in the AICE Travel and Tourism class

If you are thinking of teaching here, think again. Since you have no union, be prepared for countless duties and half the planning time. You also teach more classes and have to sub during your planning period with no extra pay. Each sick day you take you have to do paperwork on and the principal can...

This school has a big problem with racism and bullying. They don’t take it seriously. My child today got racially discriminated against by an classmate and when they went to go report it they didn’t take it seriously at all. They told my child that the kid that said all that to my child didn’t mean...

After 9 years of my children in this school system, elitism, smugness, and paternalism reared its ugly head through unproven mask mandates. Board members overriding parents' wishes, and going so far as to say , "parents chose to send their children here and they can choose to take them out" - as if...
