My overall experience at CCHS has been pretty good. I've been able to get involved in so many different things and I enjoy helping out my school. The staff at CCHS is amazing. I've never really had a problem with any of them. My overall education experience is good. I feel like I'm learning things that are preparing me to move on into college.

Carbondale Community High School is a diverse school with helpful administration and faculty. Well funded. Quality academics, afterschool activities, and sports programs.

In my experience, the school permits staff (teachers & principals) to bully & intimidate students. This appears to be supported by the principal, Ryan Thomas. Transferred into the area from a much bigger city with high ranked schools. This school was a very pleasant surprise. Much smaller, but has a reasonable, attentive administration. Well balanced teachers who seem well accustomed to working with such a diverse student body from multiple rural counties...
