This school is one of the best in Iowa, from academics and activities to student involvement. The school works hard to make sure every student feels like they belong and has a place at Carlisle. The administration and teachers make you feel safe and genuinely care about students learning.

The review from the student below is as accurate now as it was when written. If your child is not enrolled in sports, he or she is considered second class. They also don't seem to do well with learning disabilities. They need to focus more on teaching and helping students succeed. The administration and counselors are either overwhelmed, or they only care about helping certain students and not all students.

It wasn't too big a school, which made it easier to get to know my classmates and teachers alike. The school tries their utmost best to help their students succeed academically, despite whether or not their help is received well. They genuinely care for their students wellbeing. However, while they may have good intentions, they don't really take the opinions of the student body as a whole very seriously. They'll listen, but won't act.
