GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is very small but it does the job at getting you through high school and to the next chapter of your life. It is what you make of it. If you want to go to a top school then you will find a way, but if not then you won't.

Round Top- Carmine High School is a very little school. We all know each other and the different grades take care of each other. The atmosphere is upbeat and we don't have all the other distractions and violence as the bigger schools do. We are all very competitive, however we strive to make everyone do their best.

My experience at this school was okay. However, if I could do it all over, I wouldn't choose to come to this school. I feel like there are teachers at this school who only care about their favorite students and are only helpful towards them.

If you like small town cliques, nepotism, and lazy teachers, this is the place for you! Conformity is key and the level of entitlement high. There are a lot of rude people here. Bad learning environment. Go somewhere else.

2 years ago 14 teachers quit. Last year they had a sub for a math teacher and now 7 so far are bailing. There's a reason teachers are fleeing. Why can't such a small school district keep its teachers? Most have been there 2 or less years.
