GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience with the teachers that I have/had were good but mainly because I'm in higher courses. However, we're lacking in teachers, especially science and math.

During my four years at PGHS I have grown as a person overcoming adversity. I started my high school experience during COVID which was a hard transition. Not being able to socialize with my friends and having to adjust to my new reality in front of a computer wasn't easy. However the staff was very supportive and understanding. I was able to get extra help and I had access to my teachers. Gradually we started to move back into the classrooms and high school officially began. Giving me memorable moments and positive connections.

My experience was an okay one . Most the teachers I have met there are very good teachers and want to see us succeed some of the teachers were not the best. The kids are not the best. But the school had made improvements since last year with the new principal. They need to learn how to help seniors more in the college parts I have not received any help from any of the counselors. I received more help from my two art teachers then I did them. They don't even know what I wanted to do after highschool. But all and all the school is not he best but also not the worst.

Everyone involved with this school should be ashamed of themselves. Parents who say it’s great and kids are excited are lying. You are failing your kids, failing your community and failing yourselves. I understand one Starbucks location probably has a bigger operating budget but it is clear that no...

I wish my education level was better. Test Scores. Our AP choices. I wish we weren’t FORCED to take standardized test, but it’s the only thing this school does to even help our future. Besides that, we are set up to fail and they don’t even realize. Even our top students can’t create a great resume...

My daughter loves this school. She takes advantage of all of the wonderful opportunities the district offers and has been inspired to do her best by many teachers throughout the district. She understands that her success is due to family support FIRST and the wonderful teaching that is provided. It'...
