I've been attending this school for years now and some of the best parts of the school were the school spirit and the friend groups within. Some of the worst parts include the bad safety measures as we had a false alarm of a school shooting happen early last school year, and the attitudes of the teachers. Something that I would like to see change is the actions of the adults towards the students because they've become too strict.

Dundee-Crown High School has its good and bad parts. Teachers are very engaged with students and truly want to see them succeed in life. I wish the school gave more consequences to bad behavior and/or actions. It's basically open threats of being kicked out or detention with no real follow through. Students know this and walk all over the teachers and staff.

Dundee-Crown is a very diverse school. They welcome everyone, but security is sometimes too serious or too overbearing, in the wrong areas. While students are smoking weed or doing drugs in the bathroom, the security is worried about the students trying to go out for food during lunch, or trying to come back after an early release to see the trainer.

This school is great! I currently have 2 children enrolled and I could not be happier! The staff is qualified and professional and the communication with parents is fantastic! Their sports programs are top notch too. They are, however, 'busting at the seems' as the building is completely full and it...

Take your pick gangs, drugs, etc. Not everyone does or belongs to one. Two of my daughters have graduated from DC and two more are attending.
