The free dress was good changes would be made better food but overall was a good school but also wish they gave out more homework because high school was a big change homework wise because they rarely ever gave us homework in polk unlike high school

Really great the teachers are really nice and it has been best school and it is a AVID national demo school and their STEM team was 1st place in the state

Polk has come a long way since the new principal took over! She has streamlined instruction resulting in higher student achievement. The new PBIS system has improved overall behavior and morale. My daughter attended Polk Middle School and has since graduated from Newman Smith and University of Houston. When she attended Polk it was an excellent school. The facilities were very well kept both inside and out. The teaching staff all the way from the teachers, counselors and principals were awe...
