I matriculated at CHS for 4 yrs and academically, I couldn't have gotten a better education. I was an athlete and played 2 sports and excelled in basketball. Girls basketball is finally getting the recognition it deserves, but the football and baseball teams are top tier. Many pathways are offered to assist students in figuring out where their passion lies. Moat teachers are well respected. The counselors are excellent also.

The best parts of my high school experience was meeting so many different people who were so different from me and making them lifelong friends.

I have attended Cartersville High School going on 4 years now. We have very nice facilities, and our sports teams are excellent. Most of the staff are very kind and helpful, and the school in its self offers a very diverse and welcoming community. The one thing I would like to see change on is specifically some of our male staff. We have had 3 men in our school system arrested for inappropriate conduct. I feel that if that was more monitored and spoken about, our school would be perfect.

I have two graduates. One that did well because she wanted to, not because she had help through school leadership, and one that was never encouraged through teachers to do better than they wanted. I encouraged and pushed all the way to the end. I thought sending to Cartersville was the best for my k...

As a parent of three graduates, this school is an absolute blessing! Teachers are beyond AWESOME and this is an up-to-date school with old-fashioned standards! That's a thing of the past, but not here. We moved here in 1994 and have been so blessed by the City Schools and the people!
