With a turnover rate in excess of 80%+ over the last 2-3 years it's hard to rate them when they are all very new and freshly out of college with so little experience. When we had long term, very experienced teachers, they were terrific.

We have a few clubs like Beta-club, Spanish Honors Society, and many more. I personally wish there were a few more. The student in these clubs usually go above and beyond a normal student. And the leaders of the clubs are very dedicated to what each club does. Also our after school activities like dance, and sports are very fun and have very dedicated coaches and teachers.

This school has some of the greatest potential. It was once very strong in the area of academics. I hope that that is something that returns to the school.

Excel's academics are SEVERELY lacking. Many teachers lack experience or training in their fields. When I attended, attempts to enrich my curriculum with online courses or additional learning were not allowed. Students would cheat constantly without repercussions. I entered college deeply unprepared...

The school is run by people that speak of change and acceptance. However, these people seem to be the key problem in moving forward. Have a more welcoming attitude and you will make better impressions on potential students and families. Trust your gut feelings when making a decision to join this out...

Excel has been misery for our family. To think we paid for the experience is hard to fathom. Our child was made to think he was a bully when another classmate was the cause of the problems.
