I was a alum. I went there kindergarten to 12th grade. Elementary is the best there . Past that we had to pray each year where God wanted to lead us. I liked the closeness of it but wish that the students could of had more field and that there would be communication and it would become faster. But no highschool is perfect. But the staff told me that we would have a senior trip in 2024 and we didn't .

The simplest way of putting this review would be addressing the fact teachers lower your grades if they are not fond of you, where other teachers will ensure you maintain a higher grade if they like you. Not only do teachers tinker with your grades, but several have unimproved attitudes. Multiple teachers have an underlying issue with not even teaching the students, or not teaching in a productive manner in which the students are able to retain.

Things have changed for the worst. High teacher turnover. 2 new principals each year, as they leave frustrated with Admin. No parent input allowed into anything but fundraising. New teachers are all fresh college grads with no experience due to low pay. Children are constantly "Ginny pigs" or learning examples due to new teachers each year.

Excel's academics are SEVERELY lacking. Many teachers lack experience or training in their fields. When I attended, attempts to enrich my curriculum with online courses or additional learning were not allowed. Students would cheat constantly without repercussions. I entered college deeply unprepared...

The school is run by people that speak of change and acceptance. However, these people seem to be the key problem in moving forward. Have a more welcoming attitude and you will make better impressions on potential students and families. Trust your gut feelings when making a decision to join this out...

Excel has been misery for our family. To think we paid for the experience is hard to fathom. Our child was made to think he was a bully when another classmate was the cause of the problems. Our child was punished for things other students did and for incidents that were an accident. YOU HAVE BEEN WA...
