Great community and overall excellence. It has been a generally safe environment, although there is always room for improvement. The teachers try to help students to the best of their ability and make them feel comfortable.

Carterville High School was great! It was not too large, but also not too small. Staff was nice to students and students were also nice to each other.

They pushed me to be a better student, but did not give me as many opportunities as other schools around the area offered. It is much harder academically than the other schools in the area.
