The Wildcats are on the prowl at Carver Middle School as they learn, discover and grow as they go. Over 800 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students attend Carver, and the faculty and staff are focused on preparing these children to succeed both in school and in their community. The school partners with parents to help set standards for its pupils. In addition to a full curriculum of academic classes, Carver also offers “Connections” classes, electives that let kids explore their interests. Art classes help kids discover their creativity, band opens the door to musical adventures and Spanish introduces kids to other cultures. In addition, Carver’s Connections offerings include a variety of career-focused choices in which children can start thinking about their futures. These classes include business and computer science, agriculture, and family and consumer science options that give kids a taste of the business world. In sports, the Wildcats compete in about eight different sports, allowing kids to develop their athletic spirit and teamwork skills. Carver Middle School’s clubs also offer opportunities to develop interests focused on art, band, academic or career. Carver Middle School strives to set its students up for success.

All three of my boys came up through Carver, as I did in the Old Carver before the new school was built. Everything, from the teachers to the learning has been excellent until the recent year. I had horrible teachers until my 8th grade year, the dresscode is really dumb, sometimes I find veins in the school food, and sometimes it isn't even cooked. Most of the time there is too much work and the grading process is so slow.
