GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think the school culture is the best part but the lack of resources makes it difficult your class experience depends heavily on your teacher.

During my time at Castle Rock High School a lot of time in the classroom was filler work or no work at all.

Small town school where everyone knows everyone. Few teachers go out of their way to help you succeed. Wonderful agriculture and FFA programs. The building itself needs updating. Overall a decent public school. Like most schools, athletes get special treatment.

Another student...

Times are tough post-COVID and everyone is working so hard to deliver the best education possible to the students so they can have an advantage entering the adult world. The principal and staff a...

They students threw footballs back and fourth across the room (this was an english class.) they refused to tell me the...
