Overall, Castro Valley High is a pretty good school, with good teachers and academics. Its campus life is pretty diverse, and it has a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The school has many clubs and sports, providing students with a wide range of extracurricular options.

Castro Valley High school has so much to improve upon. Everywhere from the bathrooms to the education. The bathrooms are unsafe at times and are considered to be hang out by local wanna be gangs. There are some very good teachers here (all within the history department) and there are alot of teachers in the school that cant teach. And is just milking the tenure status and pay. Id just like to see the safety and education quality improve in this school.

Great school overall, I understand every school has ups and downs, My oldest graduated here few years ago and in Stanford now. My youngest is a 4.0 plus student her attending senior year. We are minority and we will well represented and respected here at Castro Valley Highschool.

Some things have come out about a teacher at this school that is very disturbing. The teacher was allegedly having inappropriate conduct with students. The school did not handle it well to the point they told the kids who found this information not to tell anyone for 4 weeks. They didn’t inform the...
