Cyril B. Busbee Creative Arts Academy is a unique public school on a mission to develop well-rounded students through comprehensive education. The academy serves students in Grades 6 through 8 and is part of the Lexington 2 school district.
The school goes above and beyond in integrating the arts into the curriculum. Sixth graders take a nine-week introductory theater, dance, chorus, band and creative writing course. Then, they decide which art or arts they want to concentrate on in Grades 7 and 8. Art is also integrated into more traditional academics, like science and math.
Athletics are a vital part of the curriculum at Cyril B. Busbee Creative Arts Academy and include football, boys and girls basketball and volleyball. Few schools in West Columbia offer students the opportunity to receive as comprehensive an education as this academy.

well the 7th grade administrator is not very kind she does not seem to care about students well being or feelings, she suspends students unfairly, dishonesty to parents, twisting up stories, and very mean. doesnt seem to care about kids safety or her job, seems to just be in it to get money and get...
