It definitely builds a sense of community, however it mostly benefits the privileged majority rather than preparing every individual for a secure future.

Cedartown High School has changed me in so many ways. The school and teachers have watched me become smarter and also seen me struggle. I lost my best fiend half way through our sophomore year. I fell behind in classes and had no motivation to do anything. My teachers understood but knew what I could do and refused to let me fail. They encouraged me to graduate after senior year although I was struggling depression. They stood by me and understood me. Now I am a graduate and know my best friend is proud.

They dress code people based on their mood, teachers don’t teach or they have freak outs, a lot of students don’t read. The food is moldy, the faculty refuse to take responsibility for anything, the image of the school is more important than the welfare of the students and the athletics department is in desperate need of competent leadership and sports medicine/ fitness training.
