Celina High School is mostly known as the "football" school in North Texas. We have great athletic facilities but I think other student should have just as many opportunities. We also have very little resources and much less STEM path building classes than other schools in our surrounding areas. I do love our community of supoorting parents and staff though.

During my time at CHS I really enjoyed it. Some of the best parts were the school spirit and how lovely most of the teachers were. One thing I would change is how certain teachers and administrators have "favorites" that are very obvious. This leads to students feeling left out and unwanted. Other than this, I truly enjoyed my time and miss high school. I am still very close with many people from Celina High School which I am grateful for.

The culture in Celina is amazing because they have the whole town participating with the highschool to make things happen. Other than that, they put a lot of focus into sports and not so much into academic events even though some of our academic events do very well.

Prioritizes sports and athletes above all, many teachers are coaches that are only teaching subjects out of requirement. “Teaching to the test” is very common and school is becoming overcrowded.

Teachers are very nice and my son loves the environment. They encourage lots of engagement to keep everyone in the loop which ensures that no one is being left behind! Curriculum is very well taught and I’m happy as a parent that my son can reach out to anyone at Celina High regarding any help and h...
