Central High School is a very small school, in a rural area. It is not as big and not your first choice pick. Although some things could be better, like food and administration. The teachers and dear friends help make the school more enjoyable. It is safe to say that my classmates and I, as well as underclassmen, are quite excited and ready to move onto bigger things in life when graduating.

I enjoyed attending such a small school where there was a sense of community. I felt comfortable in knowing that I could approach any of my teachers and that they would respond in a friendly matter. However, aside from the personable manner of everyone, I feel like the education system itself is lacking. There were no divine opportunities or classes that prepared me for the real world and even the trade school classes were very generic in their curriculum.

There were a variety of clubs and organizations offered here, yet hardly any after school programs.

All of my children have gone to school in Coosa County. This system is small enough to know every student by name. This type of connection is a plus because staff can focus on the growth of individuality and next steps in the students lives. It's like an additional family.
