Central Middle Middle School in Eden Prairie seeks to 'inspire every student, every day,' and provides an education for sixth through eighth grade students. Founded on a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, independent discovery and communication skills, Central Middle School prepares students for their high school years. Students' scholastic programming includes studying the visual arts, entrepreneurship, algebra, French, Spanish, German, engineering, math, Personal and Business Career Literacy and advanced courses in science, English and social studies, among many other classes. Extracurricular enrichment in the fine arts includes joining the Central Singers or drama club and participating in the school's musicals, variety shows, winter plays and instrumental ensembles. Academically, students may compete on Central Middle School's speech team and in its math league. Central Middle School also offers a broad selection of athletic teams to join including basketball, Nordic skiing, wrestling, intramural volleyball, intramural badminton and the winter run club. In the spring students participate in track and field, tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, beach volleyball, soccer, disc golf and synchronized swimming. Fall weather athletics include cross country, tennis and lacrosse. Challenging coursework and an appreciation for the performing arts, emboldens students to excel and reach their full potential at Central Middle School.

I’m going into eight grade soon, and I have nightmares often about it. I’ve been severely traumatized by the bullying and ablismal teaching at the school. I don’t want to talk about it too much, but if you have a lgbtq, non conformist, or disabled kid, PLEASE DONT SEND THEM HERE!!! It is hell on ear...

This is the worst school on the whole planet, there are at least 3 physical altercations per day. The school is yes very racially diverse but the school is terrible to LGBTQ+ students. As a bi student the amount of times I have gotten jumped or slurred at in the hall way has been insane. And the lac...
