Centralia Highschool is predominantly a school focused on sports and athleticism. Being a graduated student now, I look back at some fond memories with teachers who had a genuine passion for what they did and I think that was the part that helped get me through. The art program was by far my favorite and the teacher was always a great guide. Overall the experience was fine when you have the right teachers.

The school itself is nice. It's a modern building with all of the space necessary. The teachers, for the most part, are extremely competent and caring. Academically the school does not stand out, but there is potential for standout students to arise if they put in the work.

The best part is the staff that take pride in their positions and will help you and love to pass their knowledge and passion on. The worst is the cliques and those few who are accountable in a different set of or lack of rules. I believe if we are personally responsible for ourselves and focus on our future this is a great environment but you have to be involved.

My son has had challenging classes all of his years at CHS. Those classes are taught by highly-qualified teachers that actually care about his future. The technology available at the high school is top-notch, preparing my son for life after high school.
