GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Remodel complete this year. I like how they have updated the bathrooms. They have water bottle refills at all the water fountain now. Classrooms are bigger or more roomy. They are currently working on the parking lot.

I loved the fact that Centralia High School has a Microsoft Office class. This class is where you can obtain certificates in the Microsoft Office suite. I wished the school had less assemblies, as the assemblies took up too much of our class time.

This school is somewhat better than its middle school equivalent, but not by much. Although there are some stellar staff members that are diverse, there are others who are incompetent at best. The food is absolutely awful, and drugs and alcohol are prevalent. Vaping is commonplace, and I have witnessed students vaping while the teacher is busy elsewhere. The students are volatile and fights are common.

Majority of students here have a lack of drive and are not interested in learning. The staff and teachers do nothing to motivate students. There are a handful of really fantastic teachers but other than that it’s slim pickings. The counseling department as a whole Is utterly incompetent and overall...

Great collection of students and staff. Staff works hard to support student learning.

the amount of undisciplined bullying and harassment that goes on at this school is insane. i’ve been a victim of it since the second i stepped foot in the building. telling administration doesn’t help, as they do absolutely nothing.
