GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

All in all, if given the chance to go back and change the school I moved to from where I was born (Bernie, MO), I wouldn't. This place is so weird, so weird. The curriculum isn't the best because of the stress & the amount of drama this school has went through as a whole. Look up our school and you'll know exactly what I mean. We're still working out the kinks, but I love my school and I'm glad this is where I ended up.

The teachers and students are mostly nice. Most of the teachers push their students to succeed, but I would like to see a bit more college readiness. I don't quite feel that I am ready.

Although we do not have a police on campus we do have a good health and safety system at Chaffee High School. Chaffee High is a small school so we do see no need for a police. The school has security cameras that run 24/7 and is very strict on there bullying and tabacoo policy. Chaffee is also very strict on the amount of days you miss. We have the privilege to have off campus lunch but it will be taken awa for the amount of days you miss. We are responsible for attending atleast 95% of school. The teachers and faculty are required to lock all doors in between and during classes and are not allowed to leave a class unattended.I feel completely safe at our school and would choose no other school to grow up in.

I graduated as valedictorian from this school a few years back, so I'd like to think I'm well qualified to write this review. Most of the teachers are excellent and truly do care about their students, but the lack of resources and shallow course offerings really bring this school down. There is very...
