With a mission to foster well-rounded individuals, Legacy Traditional School is a public charter school serving more than 1,200 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in the Gilbert and North Chandler areas.
While at Legacy Traditional, students learn how to develop their character first and foremost through an emphasis on citizenship, loyalty, responsibility and service. Through a rigorous curriculum that integrates enVision Math and Spalding Language Arts, students here prove the school’s approach to learning works.
Most notably, students here earn test scores in reading and math far above the state averages, helping Legacy Traditional often rank in the top 5% of all elementary and middle schools in Arizona. Adding to academic success, the school offers a renowned Mozart Performing Arts Program where students are immersed in music classes four days a week—including piano lab, band, orchestra, vocals, music literacy and music history—and perform in ensembles.
Students can also hone interests in a number of electives ranging from coding and robotics to stage craft and yearbook, among others. Throughout the summer, children can participate in the school’s summer camp which hosts fun weekly themes.
All year long, students at Legacy Traditional can stay active and engaged with learning.

The only thing good about this school is the education. My daughter said, "today the aids yelled and blew the whistle in our ears just because three people were talking." Like what? when I was looking for schools this school looked so nice, but my daughter is excited about when she can leave this school. if you're looking for schools I would not recommend this school. it's only A-rated because of the test scores. If you are thinking about going to this school, I would not recommend it. they get these things called math square and there's thirty of them. 3-8th graders have to carry a large heavy math book and history book. when I went to pick up my child's backpack I think I pulled something. to sum my review up, DO NOT go to this school, the only thing good about it is the Academics.

We started in 2019 and are still at this school only because we moved across the country and do not want to pull kids from another school. This campus has had 3 different principals in 3 years. The teacher turn over rate is very high. in 2019 my second grader at the time would tell us at least once...

My daughters have tried other schools, Legacy North Chandler has not only been superior to others in academics, but also it has allowed my girls to 'shine' and feel confident. I have had nothing but good experiences here.
