GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like that we had a smaller class because I knew everyone. I know some people who graduate with a class size of 1000 and barely know anyone in their class, which seems weird to me. I also like the teachers try to have a good relationship with all of their students. I would like to see some of the favoritism change tho. If your parents didn't go to Chandler and your name isn't well known sometimes people have a bad image of you already because of that before they meet you.

Very diverse school, lots of fun activities and sports, pep rallies every quarter, pretty clean and very safe, pretty good classrooms and teachers

I would like to see more passionate teachers who really care about their subjects. Those teachers that are truly passionate are absolutely amazing and I will be sad to leave their classroom for the last time. Also, the academic team is AMAZING as is the band!!

I go to chandler, i believe that the school is in fact more focuse on sports then acedemic needs. I love this school and it has taught me alot on how to be an adult in life but in all honesty they care more about sports....

I am alumni and also a parent. My son is still at east side and I am looking at moving him after the 4th grade. If you are big about sports this is a good school. If you are more academic this is not the place.
