The education is great but the student environment and teachers are not exactly the best the school could be improved.

Do not send your kids here. I'm originally a military child and we travel a lot, by far, this is the worst school I've attended. Administration- Office Lady's are incredibly rude for no reason. Teachers- Teachers among the English department are great but every other department is horrible. Students- don't expect this school to be a positive learning environment. Counselors- Counselors get involved in anything they see, and usually make it worse. Overall this is a horrible school and I'm grateful I don't have to go back.

I am Autistic and have trouble making eye contact. One of the Administrators was talking to me and told me I had to look her in the eye but when I did I was sent into a panic attack. The rules there are way too strict for 7-8 graders. They have assigned seats in lunch that have to be in on tables separated by class and some kids don't have friends in all of their classes. The current Principle doesn't truly care about our mental health and when you ask her to review a program a student wants to run she won't approve it until the day before and then may change what she says the day of the event.

It is clear that there are no standards for conduct or academic achievement at this school. I would strongly advise staying away from th...

As a parent, I expected Franklin Middle School to provide the fundamental elements every family looks for in a middle school: a safe environment, supportive staff, transparent communication, and above all — a commitment to each child's academic and personal growth. Unfortunately, our experience with...
