We came from a smaller school to get better resources for my daughter. She only attended her junior and senior. She had classes more tailored to her. She was able to take 5 college classes during her senior year at the school. The Drama Department is awesome and helped her a lot. She is now overseas going to college.

I enjoy going to school Chanute High School. The environment from both the staff and the students is usually positive. Everyone is there to give a helping hand, and although nothing is perfect I truly love being a Blue Comet.

I feel the school should offer more courses geared toward minorities such as an African history class taught by an actual black person, or latino history taught by an actual latino. The lunch is very poor, we needed more fresh healthy options.
