Garinger offers good programs, but I personally feel that there is a lack of preparation regarding the information they provide us as students about these programs. Most counselors don't know how to guide us academically (I speak from personal experience), and because of all this, I have to seek out most of the information from other counselors outside of school or online.

If there is one good thing about Garinger it would be the sense of community when you surround yourself with the correct people. We might not have the best reputation, but we still bring home awards, we still have school events, and we still have great students doing great things. Despite how much I complain about it, Garinger is great for students like me: diverse.

The people are usually cool and most teachers actually are there to try and help you. There could be more school spirit to improve the school and not make it feel like everyone is so divided.
