Overall, the school ensures the readiness of students through its challenging courses available but I have found that for more difficult schools it lacks in providing opportunities and resources other schools do. I would like to see this change.

Overall chatham is a good district academically. I like how it offers AP courses which will help me be prepared for challenging college courses and independent expectations. Many of the teachers are extremely helpful and genuinely interested in their profession. I feel comfortable asking questions and going into for extra help if needed. Chatham is a little bit overall strict: No doordashing or food in library. I find that students should be allowed to have food wherever they go as long as they clean up after themselves and that it's not a distraction. I do feel safe coming to school as there are security guards in multiple areas.

Flawed ratings. Too many kids end up in private school in Chatham and for many it's a direct result of the high school's culture. Tutors are very popular, sports have so much parent influence it's laughable. If you are the right family, with the right amount of money and popularity, it's great, othe...

This school scores well because kids that struggle just go to private school like Seton Hall Prep. The other factor is zero ethnic, racial, or economic diversity. The administration is completely incompetent and benefit from parents supplementing their education with tutoring services. Prepare to be...

Better than most private high schools and rivaling the lyons share of junior colleges! U.S. News ranks Chatham High at number 13 in the state and number 192 nationally, out of 21,000 public schools. But the numbers don't tell the whole story; if your child is lucky enough to attend this school, then...
