My overall experience has been pretty good. I am involved in lots of activities, and the school has a lot to offer. I love being a part of the bowling team, musicals, and book club. Where this school struggles is in its overall atmosphere. Students can be cruel here and I feel like punishments are not severe enough for the amount of trouble happening. The school claims to be Christian, but I feel like we have been losing those ideals for a while now. My biggest gripe is that we claim to be a college prep school, but students are not being let in based on their intelligence or grades, they are being let in based on their ability to throw a ball. I am all for sports, but we pay so much in tuition for this school only for it to be sucked down the drain of sports? Ridiculous. When I don't think about these things too much, I feel ok about where I am, but really thinking about it gets me fired up. Oh also, the food needs to be switched up, it's getting pretty old eating the same things.

Boyd Buchanan has helped me grow as a person and helped me find some of my best friends. I would like to see more school activities as a whole. The best part is just seeing how people connect with others and just grow.

I love Boyd Buchanan School! I'd like to see the Lower, Middle, and Upper School connect more and to have school-wide functions where all grades can be involved and learn about each other!

I have been at this school for 10 years now. We started in the elementary and we LOVED it. It seemed wonderful. However, we slowly learned it is only surface-level. The Bible is talked about only in Bible Class. They aren't required to live by the Bible....that's not the standards they uphold. We ha...

It’s a money searching school, really loosing the way of being a a Christianity school. Teachers and staff know kids vape and smoke in the bathroom and they still don’t care. You pay for unlimited food plan and when u eat they give u small portions and tell u to leave and come back. The school does...

This school was so damaging to my daughter. Bullying was off the charts. She was discouraged to play music because of the type of music she was learning. Rock n roll. She was suicidal by the time I removed her because of the upper class bullying by a group of boys on the football team. Didn't even a...
