I have just recently moved to Checotah following the 2025-2026 Semester. Overall I will say my experience at Chectoah Highschool has been very positive and I have enjoyed my teachers, peers, and campus very much.

While attending Checotah High I learned a lot. The teachers were some of the nicest teachers I've had and they would help with anything. Something I'd like to see change is there main focus on sports.

Not many advanced programs so academically it holds you back. I would like it to be more inclusive in its activities more.

This school says there about your kids education and well being they don’t contact you when there is kids trying to kiss or hit your child until your kid tells you and you have to call the school to ask what happened or when having to stay for after school program can’t ride a bus bc it’s against th...

Administration and most teachers just don't care about kids or community. It's just a job to most of them and their just here for a payday.
