There are a lot of academic opportunities, especially in the STEM fields. We have about 15 AP classes, which is amazing for a public school. We also offer dual enrollment which is great. However, there is a lack of important classes that are useful for our future, like economics and government.

chelsea high school is a school built for determined students who know how to work on their own. if i am being honest chs does not have high expectations for their students, with that being said, students should know the importance of asking questions, emailing their deans, counselors, teachers, ect for any questions they may have. chelsea high has some nice clubs you can join such as debate, book club, asl, ect. as well as sports such as track, cheerleading, football (there is currently a girl on the team so girls are not out of luck), soccer for boys and girls, ect. there are programs such as trio (wonderful teachers), reach, ect. chs also offers dual enrollment in which students can take college classes and earn college credits. overall chs is for sure an interesting school you could only experience by being there yourself. there are many improvements that need to be put in place however, but of course it is not a terrible school and is filled with many cultures and wonderful events

My best experience in Chelsea High are when they're involved with other students. Sports, clubs, and arts are very fun, I like being involved in what I do. You can always meet new people to connect with. The worst experience would have to be the bathroom rules. Most of the times there's only 1 or 2 bathrooms available and you waste time trying to look for which one it open, it cuts from your class.

HORRIBLE! I've been trying to get important documentation for my child for over a YEAR. They keep ignoring me. They don't want to see children succeed! They couldn't care less.
