Each week, parents of River Bend Elementary students open their classroom newsletters to discover the latest updates from their child’s school. In a given week, students may experience a host of engaging classroom and community activities. Events include book fairs, playground parties, spirit days, Mental Health Nights, and National Arts in Education Week.
Parents may discover that their student is a Tiger Ticket winner of the week. This character-building program recognizes students who demonstrate River Bend Core Values of being safe, kind, and responsible.
To learn more about their child’s academic progress, parents can log in to Infinite Campus, a portal that provides access to assignments, grades, and other important information. Whether the student is receiving traditional instruction, gifted acceleration, or services through the Special School District, parents can easily access and track students’ progress.
And for parents who need before and after school care, there’s Adventure Club. This program provides affordable, high-quality care that offers homework time and enrichment activities for students.
The school has been serving parents and their children since it’s construction in 1968. Today, River Bend is home to over 460 students in grades K-5 and has earned an “A” from Niche national ratings. Go Tigers!

I moved to this area because I wanted better quality schools for my children. I'm GLAD I did!! I disagree with most of these older reviews. The educators are caring, kind, and passionate. I've had 6 children there with all different abilities and all had a wonderful experience!!

It was excellent for my children years ago. Just curious who he kindergarten teacher is these days. I am still friends and in contact with some of my boys teachers who have retired.

This school was the reason why I loved elementary school! The teachers are so nice, the technique they were using to teach I was very impressed. Everyday I couldn't wait to go back. The homework amount for each grade is just right, I didn't really have any problems with it. I give this school a 9/10...
