GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is focused on academics and it shows in test scores and rankings. It's not a very diverse school, however, so it feels like the students aren't getting a very realistic picture of "real life".

Central High School is a flexible and AP focused school. While there are plenty of STEM options other electives are not hard to find for many different hobbies and skills. While sports are not a great area academics are.

Central High School is a very good place to get your education. The high school has prepared me to graduate and move on to the next chapter of my life. All of my teachers have been helpful in my success throughout high school. If I had to change anything about Central High School, I would most likely update and better our facilities to make them better for students, teachers, and athletes.

She openly told me she couldn...

Academically this is a great school, however the athletic director is a rude, overbearing ( Central Alum) slovenly oaf who handpicks his buddies to coach & most of them don't have a clue!

The teachers of Central High were mostly great teachers. There's some that I just didn't think understood how to teach a class of adolescence. Best school in Cheyenne even though the students were very rude to me. Alot of the teachers never said anything because the students doing it were the " spor...
