Located at 3116 W Belden Ave. in Chicago's Logan Square, Darwin Elementary serves pre-kindergarten / kindergarten through eighth grade and is part of the "Leader in Me" movement. The "Leader in Me" initiative is founded on a belief that all children possess leadership qualities that can positively influence their educational experience.

Do not send your children here, everything is “GREAT” until your child has an issue or you want to address something. Principal and Assistant Principal will refuse to address the problem and turn you away. We have transferred our daughters out of here immediately. Horrific admin.

Darwin Principal and Assistant Principal and staff are poorly trained. The school is severely understaffed but have $15 grant in 2023. During that year the biggest purchase was over 20 fish tanks planted throughout the school, now in 2024 not one is in sight. There is so much bullying and racism at...
