James B. McPherson Elementary serves pre-kindergarten through eighth grade with an average enrollment of around 500 students. The school upholds a mission is to develop a nurturing community that fosters the social-emotional needs of International-minded learners through an inquiry-based process where all can succeed.
The school is a magnet cluster school, which are specialized neighborhood schools that focus their curriculum on areas such as fine and performing arts, world language and technology.
