I grew up in Washington Heights. My years at Mt. Vernon I had excellent Teachers who cared about their students. My 3rd grade teacher is why I currently work for a school district in Illinois.

I have been the opportunity teach engage and mentor students. Our school works together as a team to help improve the lives of the students academically and socially.Our school cares about every student and will work hard help to make sure each student is ready to learn and succeed.

I choose GREAT because my last encounter was so different. It shows that change is good some time! I am glad for the change. It has been positive.

I attended this school as a child and to see it failing on so many levels is heart breaking. The staff and faculty are very nice but it gets shadowed by the poor quality of the school overall. I sent my child to this school for Pre-K and the warning signs were obvious early on. The teacher was great...
