Chilhowie High School has an inviting, nurturing environment, that lends itself to the success of every student. When entering CHS, I was pretty apprehensive, but that quickly went away. I knew that I was in a place where I could thrive, through the support of the staff and the connection that they make with their students.

Chilhowie High School has a lot of good teachers and the guidance office and staff are great help with getting connected to our local community college to start working on college credits. There's not a lot of diversity. Sports are very popular in this school and there's pretty much support for all of them. I have had a great 3 years at this school, I have never had a problem with anything there. It is an amazing local public school.

My experience at Chilhowie High School has been great. I was able to take many different classes that I wanted to take, as well as participate in different clubs. The teachers I had were hard-working and helped me when I needed it. The extracurriculars that I was a part of were enjoyable and allowed me to be part of something outside of school hours that enhanced my high school experience.

Overall I would rate my experience at this school very highly. The teachers are amazing at their jobs. They taught me very well and I've gained a lot of unexpected experience in not only the subject I was learning, but life lessons too.
