For a school in southern Ohio, Chillicothe High School is really great. I love the teachers and the experience was really immersive. During my time however, there were major changes to scheduling every year. Some of this is due to the covid-19 epidemic and some due to odd choices by the administration. It was weird having to re-learn high school every year but doable and worth it for the other aspects of the school.

I loved my time at Chillicothe. The teachers really care and want you to succeed. They also do a pretty good job of preparing you for college, or giving other options if college is not for you. There have been some scandals in the past, but those seem to be taken care of now.

While there are a few good, dedicated teachers at this school, there are too many teachers that are not. The science and math programs are particularly weak, and graduating students that are college-bound are not being adequately prepared. While many courses are offered, few are quality.
