GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts about being a student at Zane Trace os the community you are surrounded with. Being in a more rural area of the state of Ohio brings more people to support. I do not believe I can name a "worst" part about it, but something I would change is I would like to see them add more extra curricular activities or teams including a fishing team or an archery team. With the school having a new principal a few things have changed including a new power lifting team, which has been a great success. one more thing I would change is the lunches. Personally I am just happy they serve anything, but certain meals could definitely be updated.

The teachers are amazing and most really try to build a positive relationship with all students. However, the curriculum could be more rigorous to prepare for college. Spending could be better allocated to helping this by purchasing books that aren't older than students... rather than purchasing a big, new, and VERY expensive (to the tune of $1 million+) football field

I've gone to Zane Trace since Kindergarten, it's a small school in a small town in southern Ohio. It isn't a bad school but it doesn't have the resources others do so the school doesn't prepare students for their futures as well as other schools.

I went to this school my from elementery through high and had a wonderful experience. I don't understand why it has bad reviews. Sure it has some small issues, but all scools do. This is a great small school to send your children with amazing college readiness. Many of my classmates are now doctors...

I think the school is for the rich and wealthy. Land takes are out of this world and if your poor and live in this district, for get about spending times with your kid. You need a second job to pay for the greedy land taxes.

Zane Trace was a great place to grow up and learn at. Small enough classes to get to know your entire graduating class instead of walking graduation and wondering 'who is that'. The teachers care and push their students well.
