GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my experience here at Chillicothe high school is quite the life. The best part of this school is seeing my friends, learning about history and communication with my classmates. The worst parts of my experience are not doing a lot in my school, like no clubs or doing active things in classrooms. I would like to see this school change the foods and more of being active with each classroom.

At Chillicothe there are a couple of teachers that love teaching, but there are some that seem to hate their job and are really irritable. Overall though the students receive a good quality education. Since I've been in high school there have only been two teachers that grading was inconsistent and depended on their mood or if they liked the student.

We recently got a new Athletic Director this year, and his goal has been getting athletes into better shape. He added more running and lifting to the PE class and sports work outs have gotten more strenuous. Also during homecoming he had the idea for the seniors to have a poster making contest and hang all the posters up at the field.
