GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Chinook High School has the best teachers. They care for you and make sure you are doing the best that you are able to. They understand more than I thought a teacher could, they help you when you need it. The students are also trustworthy and very kind to one another. If there was a bullying incident, they would take action right away.

For the most part, all students accept everyone else for who they are and what they believe. There is hardly any peer pressure that takes place in the school. Most of the students also take a strong leap toward being involved in at least one school activity and try the best while doing so.

At Chinook High School, the types of clubs and organizations that exist include: Business Professionals of America (BPA), Beeter Booster Club, Academic Challenge, Pep Band, National Honor Society (NHS), FFA, Student Council, and DC Club. Though this is quite outstanding for a small, public school, I wish to see more opportunities to exist.
