The overall rating of this school teaching wise is great. However the racial tension can be felt. The white staff is very uncomfortable interacting with black parents. Chocowinity Primary is very welcoming. I have 3 children that are/have attended this school and they all received an excellent education from every teacher. Everyone cares about the children from the Principal, bus drivers, teachers, custodians, assistants and volunteers. I wouldn't want my children...
