Columbus East Elementary School cares for and motivates students by building a sense of community and tailoring instruction and support to individual student needs. Columbus East also strives to cultivate a positive learning environment.
The school employs specialized staff to support its 350 fourth to sixth grade students with their academic, emotional and social needs.
Beyond the core curriculum, the public school offers instruction in music, digital literacy and art.
Other learning opportunities outside of the classroom include Mathletes, tech club, a service learning club and a student council, as well as bass for fourth and sixth graders. Students in the fifth or sixth grade can also participate in intramural sports.

I attended Columbus East and West elementary school, I could honestly say that these are the two best schools' in Cicero. the teachers there care the students and direct them toward the path of success.
